For centuries before His birth, prophets in the Old Testament foretold the coming of the Messiah, detailing aspects of His life, ministry, and ultimate purpose. His birth was miraculous, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, fulfilling ancient prophecies.
"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel."

Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)Jesus' public ministry began around the age of 30 and lasted for approximately three years. During this time, He taught profound spiritual truths, performed numerous miracles, healed the sick, cast out demons, and proclaimed the good news of the Kingdom of God. His teachings emphasized love for God and neighbor, forgiveness, humility, and the importance of a transformed heart.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

The central act of Jesus' mission was His sacrificial death on the cross. Christians believe that through His crucifixion, Jesus atoned for the sins of humanity, bridging the gap between a holy God and sinful people. Three days after His death, He miraculously rose from the dead, demonstrating His victory over sin and death and securing the hope of eternal life for all who believe.
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed."
Isaiah 53:5 (NIV)"For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive."

The title "Savior of the World" encapsulates Jesus' universal significance. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He offers reconciliation with God, forgiveness of sins, and the promise of eternal life to everyone, regardless of their background, who puts their faith in Him. His salvation is a free gift, received by grace through faith.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved."
